Britax G4 vs ClickTight Car Seats

As you may have noticed Britax announced the new line of their car seats called Britax ClickTight after their 2014 model called G4 models, the new models come with some new features and the most important one is the ClickTight system. So let's have a detailed look for the differences between G4 and ClickTight models.

The Britax ClickTight convertible seats will have:
  • ClickTight installation system which makes the car seat very easy to be installed by anyone with only use of the vehicle seat belt.
  • Improved version of SafeCell side impact protection.
  • 12-position harness and 2-position buckle for quick adjustment of the harness.
  • 65 lbs. Maximum weight limit like Britax G4 models.
  • An automatic level indicator for the 7-position recline for finding the best installation angle.

As we understand from Britax presentations installing and achieving a tight installation a seat that features ClickTight is really easy with only three steps.

The available models with the ClickTight system are Marathon ClickTight, Boulevard ClickTight, and Advocate ClickTight convertible car seats.

Apart from above features, the same Model of G4 and ClickTight models have same features.
